Brian,
I am very confused. I replied to your email as soon as I got it. I didn’t realize
your email had been sent to my spam. Further I even texted your wife and had Jeb
call you to explain that I am out of town due to a death in my family. I am sorry
that the death in my family inconvenienced you. If your are upset imagine how me
and my family feel. I have not taken your money and in fact I am trying to get everything
settled even though I am out of town dealing with this tragic event just so you
and Erika don’t worry. I did not plan on having to leave town to deal with a death.
I am not sure if you have ever had to deal with something like this but it sucks.
I am more then happy to meet with you and Erika when I get back in town next week
so we can go over any and all details that you want. I am not trying to take your
money in fact I am trying to do the opposite. You signed a contract that states
I am going to build you a kitchen. It says nothing about breaking a contract and
getting your money back when you the contractor has to go out of town to deal with
a family tragedy.
Once again I am trying to do exactly what I promised I would do. I am not in breach
of contract and I am offering to finish according to the contract guidelines that
you signed.
Remarks
As you may or may not have noticed there is no accountability that he had gone over
27 days with zero contact and no reference to why $0 was spent on any materials
for out kitchen almost 2 months after we cut him the first check!
